Obtaining a visa for Nepal is a straightforward process. Travelers can easily obtain a visa upon arrival, making it both quick and convenient. For added efficiency, you have the option to complete an online application form in advance, print it, and present it upon arrival.

Visa Application Process:

• Alternatively, visas can be obtained from a Nepalese Embassy or Diplomatic Mission in your home country prior to your trip.

Visa Fees:

• 15-Day Visa: $30 USD
• 30-Day Visa: $50 USD
• 90-Day Visa: $125 USD

Please note that citizens of Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria, and refugees with travel documents must secure a visa prior to arriving in Nepal.

Gratis Visa (Free Visa): A Gratis Visa is available free of charge for the following applicants:

• Children under 10 years old
• SAARC citizens (excluding Afghanistan) for up to 30 days within a given visa year
• Non-Resident Nepalese (NRN) cardholders (issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Nepalese diplomatic missions abroad)
• Chinese nationals

Additionally, officials from China, Brazil, Russia, and Thailand are exempt from requiring an entry visa due to reciprocal visa waiver agreements.
