After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you are supposed to complete all the
custom formalities and meet our representative outside who will be welcoming you in our
traditional way with flower garland. Then you will be transferred to the hotel.

After breakfast, we will be visiting the World Heritage Sites: Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu
Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath. At the evening we meet our entire trekking
team and our guides for the preparation of the trip.

We take a 45-minute flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar, where we can enjoy stunning views of snow-capped peaks, including Ganesh Himal, Mt. Everest, and Mt. Makalu. Upon landing in Tumlingtar, we will explore the vibrant town for the rest of the day.

After great day at Tumlingtar we take drive to Num village located in Sankhasawa District of
Koshi zone.

We start our trek from very steep slope and terraced towards the Aron river, approximately 800
meters below. After reaching the bottom, we cross the suspension bridge across the mighty
Aron River. Then climb from the rainforest to Seduwa, a village with a small health center and a
primary school.

We’ll enjoy a pleasant, easy walk of about 4-5 hours that takes us through the countryside and charming farm villages. The trail gradually climbs for an hour through millet and rice fields, leading us to Tashigaon, where we will spend the night.

After several days of walking, it's important for the body to rest. We will take some time to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings of Tashigaon village. For those who wish to explore, there are opportunities to take a leisurely walk around the area.

This will be a tough day as we have to walk down a steep trail at a higher altitude. We will climb
through the forest to a stream and then to a ridge. From there, the path becomes steeper and
passes Kharka and eventually follows a series of rocky stone steps and small lakes that ascend
to the top of the hills to reach Khongma.

After spending night at Khongma we head towards Dobato through the Shipton pass,
Kalopokhari and keke pass. We can see great view of Chamlang, Peak 6 and Peak 7.

We head towards Yangrikhara, passing through the steep trails of rhododendron forests that lead to the Barun River and the upper reaches of the valleys. After 3-4 hours of gaining altitude, we will arrive at Yangrikhara.

As we go up from Yangrikhara the vegetation starts to get thin.
After reaching Shersong we can see the bottom of the glacier baron and a towering Mt.
Makalu. This is also called lower base camp of Mt. Makalu and offers great views of the peaks
and surrounding ranges.

To reach Makalu Base Camp from Shersong , we have to climb a nominal route,
after which we descend from the base and boulder to the west side of the river from the base
camp. There are no huts, shelter or vegetation in the base camp but we can see terrific scenes
of the south face of Mt. Makalu.

After spending the night at Makalu Base Camp, we will climb to 5,250 meters on the lower slope of Peak 3. From this vantage point, we can enjoy breathtaking views of Lhotse, Lhotse Shar, and Everest. We will rest for the remainder of the day, soaking in the stunning mountain scenery.

We trek back to YarkKharka from the same route that we ascend.

We keep descending through rockfall and climb the rocky gully to dobate. And we cross kaka la,
Shipton la to reach Khongma.

After spending night at Khongma we trek back to Sudewa through the country side farm
villages. We will once again cross the rice and millet field.

On this day we get back go Num from where we started our trek. After reaching Num we take a
drive to Khandbari and hike three or four hours to reach Tumlingtar.

In this day we take a flight to Kathmandu from Tumlingtar Airport.

In this day you may take rest or you may visit Kathmandu. It is up-to you to do anything from this point.

We will drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure with a hope of
seeing you again.
